We are a university-wide network of academics and research students exploring the political, historical, social, legal and environmental dimensions of capitalism. We provide a platform for sharing work in progress, hosting seminars, shaping and sharing curriculum and collaborating on scholarships and grant applications. Our members have extensive connections with the international community of scholars working in the new studies of capitalism, as well as a special interest in research being produced in and about the Asia Pacific region. We welcome affiliation from ANU academics and students in all disciplines.
The Network features scholarly publications from its members on this website. You can see more about this work here.
The Network holds seminars, panels, book launches, public talks and conferences on capitalism studies at the Australian National University. You can see our current and past events here.
